We spent a leisurely morning exploring and making the most of the last of our free time. Lucy and Ed took the cultural route and toured the Gyeonghuigung Palace (see photos below) and Sulina went to Namdaemun Market. Sally was very conscientious and stayed behind to get on with some work.
We met up just in time to get the taxi to the airport and set off for the Jeollanum-Do area which is equivalent to Devon. After a brief encounter for Sulina with customs, who were a bit wary of her one of the aerosol cans in her suitcase. We boarded and got on with some serious language cramming before we arrived 40 minutes later to a fantastic welcoming committee at Gimpo Airport.
A quick turnaround at the hotel and we were giving our first Korean presentation to a room full of past and present senior Rotarians from District 3610. Amazingly it went without a hitch and our grammar was apparently ‘excellent’. Either they were being very nice or Joohee really did manage to work wonders with us.
